Kartashov Andrey was born in 1974г in the town of Uzhgorod, Ukraine.
In 1990 he applied to the Uzhgorod College of Applied Art.
1994 – Took part in an international planner «Carpathian fall – 94»
1995 – Thesis headlined «The Echo of the Civilization». Getting a grant: «The Best Diploma of the Year» with the right to apply to the Lvov Academy of Arts without the entrance exams. (did not use the right).
1996 – moved to St.-Petersburg, as a freelance student attended Prof. Neprintsev’s and Prof. Sokolov’s workshops.
1997 – Taking part in auctions: « John Nicholson Fine Art & Value» (London) 1998 – applied to the Russian Repin Academy of Arts. Participated in «John Nicholson Fine Art & Value» auction for the second time.
1999 – First year honour graduate under the direction of Prof. Kaliuta. His artworks were bought by the Provost of the Barcelona Academy of Fine Arts as methodical samples and are transferred to the Methodical Fund of the University.
2000 – Second year graduate under the direction of Prof. Lavrenko. Honours Certificate «Praise of the Board» in Sketches. First Prize in the «Best Sketch of the year» contest.
2001 – Allocation to the easel painting workshop under the direction of Prof. Pimenov.
2003 – Took part in a mobile exhibition of the Academy of Arts in China.
2004 – Was invited to China to run master classes and teach. (Peking, Chin-Dao, Tinang, Shouguang.)
2005 – creative work, taking part in season exhibitions of the Union of Artists and the Manege. His works can be found in museums and private collections in Great Britain, the USA, Canada, France, Spain, Poland, the Ukraine, and Russia.
Between 1995 and 1998 – took part in annual fall exhibitions in the halls of the Academy.
1996 – Took part in the student art exhibition in Cologne, Germany.
2000 – Took part in exhibition "Real art”, St.-Petersburg.
2004 – An exhibition in the Union of Artists, St.-Petersburg. His works can be found in the Academy of Arts Fund, private collections in Russia, Germany, Spain, the USA, China, France and Canada.
